I thought it was alot easier to use value on the ipad because you just had to use your finger to smudge the colors together but i think it was alot more fun using the oil pastels because you actually draw it. I learned how to make a drawing look real instead of just a plain outline and it makes drawings more apealing to the eye.

my contour skills got alot better as i practiced everyday because i got used to not picking up my pen and it got easier every time i practiced. especially since i like shoes alot it was pretty fun to draw my favorite shoe. I think drawing contour is really frustrating at first because you think what is the point of this but it has helped me alot in this class
